We have not had any updates from the Departm= ent of Education at this stage since the announcement of the 'road map' by = Danial Andrews last week but we expect new operating guidelines very soon. = Currently the plan is;</p><ul><li><strong>All students in years 7-10</stron= g> resume remote learning on Monday 4th October until at least T= uesday 26th October</li><li><strong>Students in year 11</strong>= resume remote learning for Monday 4th October. On Tuesday 5<sup= >th October, any Year 11 students that are doing a year 12 (unit 3/4 = subject) are to sit the GAT at the <u>Middle Years Campus</u> which starts = at 10am. There are no classes for Year 11 subjects on this day.</li><li><st= rong>Students in year 12</strong> resume remote learning for Monday 4t= h October. This begins at 10am. </li></u= l><p>From Wednesday 6th October, all Year 10 and 11 classes will= be taught remotely but if a year 11 student is doing a year 12 (Unit 3/4) = subject, these will be taught on site. Year 11 students may work in the lib= rary before or after their year 12 class so as not to miss their year 11 cl= asses while commuting to and from school as Year 11 classes will be online.= </p><p>From Wednesday 6th October, all Year 12 classes, VCE and = VCAL, will be taught on site. No further remote learning will be provided f= or year 12 classes. </p><p>Students attending on site need to follow the no= rmal school expectations;</p><ul><li>Arrive at school on time (8:55am for a= 9am start) for year 12 students (no homegroup). Although students cannot study specifically for the GAT as it is a = 'General' achievement Test, students should do their best on the day as the= results may be used to derive a score if they are unable to sit an exam in= the coming weeks. </p><p>As there will only be year 12 classes running at = school during the first three weeks, the oval will not be available for use= during break times and the canteen will not operate on the first Wednesday= 6th October. ALL STUDENTS at Mill Park Secondary College that have submitted a V= TAC application should also put in a SEAS application as all students at Mi= ll Park meet criteria 1 and 4 at least and this may help you get into your = preferred course.</p><p>I plan to meet with the student leaders later this = week to discuss options for end of year celebrations.
